Admission

Into Amano Christian School

Admission Process

The parents or guardians will complete the application form and send it to Amano Christian School, together with copies of the student’s birth certificate or proof of date of birth, a certified copy of the parents NRC or Passport and the latest school report if he or she attends school.

The Admissions Committee will select those to be interviewed

The student and his or her parents or guardians will attend interviews, during which the student will complete entrance tests while the parents meet with appropriate members of staff and the Board of Governors. There will be a charge for these interviews.

The Admissions Committee will make recommendations to the Board of Governors or Trustees, who will offer places at its discretion, in writing.

The parents or gurdians will complete and sign other forms covering indemnity and giving medical information. A non-refundable deposit of half a term's fees, is also required. The deposit will be returned when the child leaves if a term's notice has been given. On receipt of these forms and fees an official letter of acceptance will be sent by the School.

Allocation of Places

Children of those working in full-time Christian ministry will be given priority, provided their church or mission is recognised by the Board of Trustees. Places are also offered to disadvantaged students, if fee sponsorship is available. Remaining places are available for other students and will be offered at the discretion of the Board of Governors/Trustees. The Trustees’ decision on each application is final and not subject to any further discussion.
