Academic Curriculum

Our curriculum reflects the Christian ethos of the school and all subjects are taught from a biblical perspective. The Scripture/Christian Foundations lessons are at the forefront of the curriculum for all students.

The rest of our subjects are based on the UK curriculae using material from Cambridge International Examinations in the secondary school. Naturally we want the students to understand and appreciate the country in which  they live, so studies of Zambia form part of the Geography and History lessons each year before students begin the IGCSE courses in Grade 11.

Our curriculum is designed to enable students gifted in practical subjects to develop their skills, and currently offer courses in Food Technology, Textiles and Art. Once the woodwork and metalwork facility is built and we have appropriate staff, we hope to be able to offer courses in those subjects as well.

Students in the Upper Secondary grades have opportunities to explore career possibilities through lectures, the internet, work experience and field visits within the local area.

For the Lord gives wisdom;

from His mouth come

knowledge and understanding.
